Supply scrap to our furnace.
We buy four grades of ferrous scrap for our induction furnace. New suppliers are vetted first; once approved, you can send offers any time.
Grades we buy
Melting & motor scrap
Ferrous melting scrap, and motor scrap as stripped stators and rotors only, with the copper windings removed. Clean loads give the best recovery in the furnace.
CNC & nut turnings
Steel turnings from CNC machining and nut making. Dry, clean turnings give the best recovery in the furnace and the best result for you.
How to supply
Vetting first. Then the rest follows.
Every new supplier is vetted before any deal. Once you are approved, every adjustment is agreed with you before your load is unloaded.
Vetting comes first.
Before any deal, send us your firm’s details: firm name, address, GST number, contact person and the grades you can supply. Use the registration form on our website or send them on WhatsApp.
We review and confirm.
We review your details. Once you are approved as a supplier, we let you know and you can start sending offers.
Tell us what you have.
Send the grade, approximate quantity and where the material is, with a few photos, on WhatsApp or through our website form. Quantity can be in tonnes or in vehicle loads, such as a tempo or a truck.
Terms agreed up front.
We quote our rate for that grade in line with the current steel market. Once you agree, we book the sauda for the quantity and grade.
Delivery to Sahnewal Kalan.
The material comes to our plant at Sahnewal Kalan, Ludhiana.
What the load really contains.
On arrival, the load is weighed and checked for moisture and dust, which decide how much usable steel it will give in the furnace.
No surprises later.
If recovery is below the standard for that grade, we share our assessment with you on WhatsApp. The shortfall is adjusted through a debit note on the bill, and we unload once you accept.
Getting the best value
What makes a good load.
We judge every load on how much usable steel it gives in the furnace. Moisture and dust are the two things that lower it most.
Do
- Keep it dryDrain oil and coolant from turnings, and keep loads covered from rain.
- Keep it cleanLess dust, sand and mud means better recovery and fewer adjustments.
- Keep grades separateOne grade per load, or clearly separated, so each is valued correctly.
- Send photos firstA few clear photos on WhatsApp help us quote the right grade.
Keep out of the load
- Sealed or closed containersClosed pipes, cylinders and drums can burst in a furnace. Cut them open or leave them out.
- Copper windings and whole motorsWe buy motor scrap only as stripped stators and rotors. Remove all copper windings first.
- Loose non-ferrous piecesBrass, aluminium and other non-ferrous bits mixed into turnings or melting scrap.
- Non-metal materialPlastic, rubber, wood, cloth and packing material.
- Water and wet sludgeStanding water or wet sludge mixed into turnings.

How do I become a supplier?
Send your firm’s details through the registration form or on WhatsApp: firm name, address, GST number, contact person and the grades you can supply. We review them, and once you are approved you can start sending offers.
How are your rates decided?
Rates are set grade by grade and follow the steel market, so they change from time to time. Ask on WhatsApp for the current rate for your grade. The rate is fixed when we book the sauda.
What quantities do you buy?
We book quantities in tonnes or by vehicle load, such as a tempo or a truck. Tell us roughly how much you have, or how much you generate each month.
Why does moisture and dust matter so much?
Water and dust add weight but give no steel in the furnace. Dry, clean material gives better recovery, which means fewer adjustments on your bill.
What happens if my load falls short?
We share the recovery assessment with you on WhatsApp before unloading. Once you accept, the shortfall is adjusted through a debit note on the bill. Nothing is deducted without you knowing first.
Can factories sell to you directly?
Yes. Factories and machine shops that generate turnings regularly are welcome to register.
